Guilty Verdict In Longview Murder Trial

A Gladewater man has been found guilty of capital murder. 27 year old Aaron Higginbotham was arrested in June 2003 and charged with the murder of 18 year old Michael Hendrix.  Hendrix's body was allegedly dumped in the Sabine River. Higginbotham received a mandatory life sentence, which means he will serve at least 40 years before being eligible for parole.

Also charged with Hendrix's murder is 27 year old Michael Kay. He's currently awaiting trial. Prosecutors say they may seek the death penalty for Kay.
