Cleanup efforts continue for snow, ice in Cincinnati

(FOX19) -

Crews have been able to open most residential streets, but cleanup efforts continue.

The biggest hurdles crews are facing are on some of the smallest streets. Because of the packed ice, residents are parking away from the curb.

On some streets, the travel lanes have become so narrow that our equipment simply cannot get down the street safely.

We need neighbors on these streets to work together to get these vehicles moved so that crews are able to clear their street.

For today's snowfall, crews are out pre-treating bridges, overpasses and elevated surfaces. They are prepping loading their equipment and closely monitoring the forecasts.

Crews are continuing to work 12-hour rotating shifts as we head into this next bout of snow.
