In The Kitchen: Hot Prairie Fire Bean Dip


1 can refried beans
1/2 lb. Butter
1/3 lb. Sharp cheese or velveeta, grated
2 jalapeno peppers
1 medium onion, grated
1 clove garlic, minced

1.Mix all ingredients, adding desired amount of liquid from peppers.
2.Heat in microwave or on stove top until cheese is melted.
3.Serve with corn chips.

**Note: One 4 oz. can of chopped green chilies and one 4 oz. can taco sauce may be substituted for jalapeno peppers.
