Former Dallas Cowboy Josh Brent found guilty in deadly 2012 crash

DALLAS, TX (KLTV) - Former Dallas Cowboys player Josh Brent has been convicted of intoxication manslaughter in a 2012 crash that killed teammate and friend Jerry Brown Jr.

The jury delivered the verdict after two days of deliberations.

Brent was accused of drunken driving during early on December 18, 2012, when he crashed his Mercedes, killing Brown. His attorneys' argued that prosecutors were unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that he was intoxicated.

Brent faces up to 20 years in prison.
