Tyler man takes home $369,503 in World Series of Poker

DURANT, OK (KLTV) - A Tyler man outplayed over 1,400 others during an 18-day poker event in Oklahoma to take home first prize.

Tyler Morris of Tyler beat out 1,428 other players in Choctaw Casino's World Series of Poker event to collect the grand prize of $369,503. Along with his winnings, Morris earned a World Series of Poker ring and an automatic spot in the World Series of Poker national championship.

The event took place from January 2-20 at Choctaw Casino Resort in Durant, Oklahoma. It was the fourth largest World Series of Poker event in the series' history.
