Victim of early morning wreck near Troup identified

CHEROKEE COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - One man was pronounced dead at the scene of an two-vehicle accident four miles east of Troup on Friday morning.

Texas Department of Public Safety says the crash happened on Farm to Market 13 at the intersection of Farm to Market 856 in Cherokee County around 6:45 a.m. A 2003 Ford Mustang driven by Joshua Chad Page, 29, of Jacksonville, was at the stop sign on FM 856 when police say he pulled out in front of a Peterbilt truck driven by Jay Michael Cloud, 45, of Whitehouse, who was headed eastbound on FM13

Page was pronounced dead at the scene by Cherokee County Precinct 4 Justice of the Peace Vera Foreman.
