BOWIE CO., TX (KSLA) -

Deputies in Bowie County are looking for the man who stole a party barge from a local storage facility.

According to the Bowie County Sheriff's Office says it happened at Lakeside Mini Storage on Highway 59 South of Texarkana, TX in the early morning hours of December 21, 2013.

Surveillance video shows a white male in a two-tone 4-door single rear-wheeled truck with cab lights and after-market wheels force entry into the facility. Once inside, the suspect backed up to a 2013 Sun Tracker 20-foot party barge that had a cover over it and the 60 horsepower motor attached to it.

The man cut the lock off the boat trailer, hooked the trailer up to the truck, and left the business with the boat.

Bowie County investigators have released a still image from the surveillance cameras and a stock picture of the type of boat taken.

Anyone with any information about the crime is asked to contact Captain Jerl Palmore at the Bowie County Sheriff's Office at (903) 798-3149 or Texarkana Area Crime Stoppers at (903) 793-STOP (7807).
