Volkswagon Fest In Longview

A group of East Texas car enthusiasts held their unusual annual car show in Longview. At first glance, some might call it a little "buggy", but they say they do it all to raise money for a deserving group in Longview. It was the second annual "Piney Woods V-W fall fest", held at Mcwhorter park for Volkswagon fans.

Around 60 old and new V-W models were on display, with proceeds from the event going to the Longview developmental day care center. Some V-W owners go as far as naming their cars. Enthusiasts say, it's an unusual love affair with the German import, but its a good way to raise money.
