Getting the Rose Parade off and running is no easy task. With over 120 floats and groups in this years event, just getting things organized can be a chore. Starting more than three hours before the parade even begins, volunteers start lining up the participants. That can mean dealing with anything from a trailer full of young cheerleaders, to a group of Shriners just looking to have a good time. While getting everyone in order can cause some headaches, organizers say the finished product is something everyone can be proud of.
