Fire destroys Huntington home Saturday

HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) -

An East Texas family is homeless after a fire ripped through their house Saturday afternoon in Huntington.

Neighbors say the fire started at around 3:30 P.M. off of Charlie Porter road, just southwest of Lufkin.

They say the couple who lives at the home was not there when the fire started. No one was hurt but the family's house is destroyed.
