This year, H&R Block is doing something special for New Year's Eve.
They're honoring the last baby born in 2013. H&R Block is doing this promotion to raise awareness about child tax credit laws.
They want parents to know that you can claim a child on your 2013 taxes, as long as it's born before midnight on Jan. 1, 2014.
"We just want to highlight the fact that no matter what time a baby is born, it's an important child, and also we want the public to know the law that gives them that deduction," H&R Block Representative Bonnie Deaver said.
H&R Block will give the last child born in 2013 and the child's parents a special gift.
We'll let you know who the recipients are on Wednesday.
