Crime Roundup: Leesville man accused of touching child

LAKE CHARLES, LA (KPLC) -

A 34-year-old Leesville man has been charged with indecent behavior with a juvenile.

The Leesville Police Department said Ricardo Moralez III was arrested Dec. 21 and has been accused of "touching a 7-year-old juvenile, under the undergarments, on the buttocks."

Bond was set at $20,000.

 

Lake Charles man charged with battery, home invasion

A 52-year-old Lake Charles man has been charged with home invasion, aggravated battery and resisting an officer.

On Monday, Deputy Chief Mark Kraus said Robert Glenn Moore was arrested at a home in the 3400 block of McKinley Street.

"On Thursday, we were dispatched in reference to a suspect kicking in the door and attacking the homeowner," Kraus said in a news release. "Officers encountered Moore in the residence and attempted to arrest him. He ignored lawful orders issued to him and forced officers to use force to take him into custody."

Moore was released Saturday on a $260,000 bond.

 

Arrest Reports

The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office reported the following arrests:

Daryen Dwanye Burns, 17, Lake Charles: Simple burglary, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of juveniles. Bond: $13,500.

Michael Gerald Lubin, 38, Lake Charles: home invasion, resisting an officer with force or violence.
