My Nana was always the go-to person and never gave the wrong advice. I remember time after time we would be cooking up something in the kitchen and I'd ask her advice, and she would leave me in tears because she was always so right on just about everything.
Whether I wanted to hear it or not, she KNEW what I needed. She passed away August 2, 2013 from cancer, something that changed our life habits forever. Losing her has been the hardest, most difficult thing for me to grasp and take in. Some days are much harder than others. Christmas this year just wasn't the same, but I know she's no longer tired or in pain.
Love you to the moon and back, Nana.
