EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - For the last day of 2013, we will see partly to mostly sunny skies with the thickest cloud cover being over our southeastern counties.
Daytime highs will be topping out in the lower to middle 50s. If you have any plans to be out this evening to ring in the new year, we'll be under a mostly clear sky at midnight with temperatures in the upper 30s on average.
Overnight mostly clear skies are expected with lows dropping into the lower to middle 30s. The first day of 2014 features partly to mostly sunny skies to start the day, but later Wednesday into Thursday comes the slim chance for a few spotty showers.
While there will be a few raindrops, it's looking like most of the activity should be off to our east. Daytime highs on Wednesday will be near 60.
