ETX man arrested on drug and evading charges

GREGG COUNTY, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas man is arrested after fleeing from state troopers; charged with evading arrest and drug possession.

36-year-old Vincent Renard Franklin of Kilgore was arrested by DPS troopers on Friday off of Wilkins road near Liberty City. Franklin was charged with evading arrest, possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and driving without a license.

He was booked into the Gregg County jail on over 20-thousand dollars bond. Records show he was released Saturday the 28th.
