Pair arrested, jailed for burglarizing East Texas business

LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -

Two East Texans are in jail after allegedly burglarizing a business in Gregg County.

According to the Gregg County Sheriff's Department, Gregg County Deputy Ken Baker was on patrol on the night ofDecember 24 and observed a suspicious vehicle next to East TexasSonar at 3200 Highway 259 North. The business, as well as other businesses inthe area had recently been burglarized.

As Deputy Baker approached the truck, he saw that the enginewas running and observed a female sitting on the passenger side. Deputy Bakerthen saw that the front door window had been broken out of East Texas Sonar.Moments later, a male ran from the broken door window to a nearby field.

With the assistance of K-9 Deputy Scott Morrison as well asother members of Gregg County and Longview Police, Tommy Wobbington Jr. andMysti Stell were arrested for burglary of a building. The suspicious truck wasfound to be stolen out of Longview and Wobbington and Stell were charged forthe theft. Wobbington was also charged for evading arrest or detention.
