Man facing charges for stealing medical treatment at ER

A man is facing charges for getting expensive treatment at a Cleveland hospital--posing as someone else.

Records show back in April, Michael Moore went to the ER at MetroHealth Medical Center claiming he was someone else.

In the end, records show he got more than $18,000 in medical treatment.

Cuyahoga County Prosecutors say Moore even had the other guy's social security number.

Now Moore is facing felony charges-- but that's not all.

Investigators found Moore went back to the ER a few days later, and that time he used his own photo ID because he couldn't fill the prescriptions he'd been given.

Prosecutors say Moore now has to deal with charges of grand theft, identity fraud, forgery, and more.

Michael Moore has already been indicted 30 times.

19 Action News Investigative Reporter Ed Gallek went to the address on court records for Moore, which happens to be his niece's home.

She says Moore just uses her address.

The records don't say what kind of treatment Moore got for that $18,000 but if he gets convicted, the payback might hurt a bit.
