EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - Today most of us will start off with a mostly sunny sky, but clouds will continue to push into East Texas from the west. Skies will be partly cloudy this afternoon.
Highs will top out in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Overnight skies will continue to thicken up, becoming mostly cloudy. Lows tonight will drop only into the upper 50s and lower 60s.
Your Friday features mostly cloudy skies with the chance of showers and maybe even a few thunderstorms in the late afternoon/evening hours. Highs on your Friday will be in the lower to middle 70s.
Saturday will be the active day here in East Texas as a storm system develops just to our southwest and moves into East Texas. Some of these storms could be severe with the biggest threat being strong damaging winds, but a few tornadoes cannot be ruled out.
