TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

Tyler Police are searching for the person who they say attempted to burglarize a pharmacy early Wednesday morning.

Officers responded to a Commercial Burglary Alarm at the CVS Pharmacy, at 4922 South Broadway Ave, just after 2:30am. They were notified en route that off-site security personnel witnessed the incident, and saw the suspect fleeing the scene. After searching the scene, officers were unable to locate the suspect.

Responding officers observed that the front doors to the business were forced open.

Review of the store's security video showed the suspect forcing the business' automatic doors open. He pulls a chain into the store with him that is visibly attached to a vehicle outside. He then repeatedly attempts to wrap the chain around the ATM before giving up and fleeing the scene.

The suspect is described as a male wearing dark colored pants, a dark colored hoodie, white under shirt, white shoes, and a white cloth covering his face.

Tyler Crimestoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to an arrest in connection to this case.
