(WMC-TV) - Zach Randolph's biggest little fan got up close and personal with his favorite player when the Memphis Grizzly gave him the shirt off his back.

Will Furlong doesn't meet many strangers.

"I go to Walmart, and he high five's people, they say, 'Hey Will.' I don't even know who they are," said Will's dad, Morgan.

So when he saw the chance to get up close and personal with his favorite Grizzlies star, he took it.

Family friend Faith Wolfard was at Wednesday's game with Will and had the tough task of holding him back.

"I saw Z-Bo and said, 'Hey Will, who's that?' And he said, "Z-BO!" And then he took off running and I was like, 'Oh my goodness, what did I do?' " she said.

But Will's brazen act caught the eye of the Grizzlies star.

"I turned to my left and seen a kid with a headband on and he was saying my name. I just took off my shooting shirt and gave it to him. He was like, thank you, and I seen him after the game walking through the tunnel and he was right there, and I shook his hand and gave him a hug," said Randolph.

Will, who has down syndrome, has always been a huge Grizzlies fan, but after simple gesture he is a Z-Bo fan for life.

"We make kids' days. We're role models, and kids look up to us, and that's something we have to embrace and take the role of," said Randolph.

Z-Bo is not the only player Will likes on the Grizzlies; he is also a big Tony Allen fan.
