ETX home damaged in weekend fire

WHITEHOUSE, TX (KLTV) -

An East Texas home was damaged Sunday when it caught fire in Whitehouse.

Neighbors tell us the home located in the 10000 block of County Road 2173 caught fire around 2 p.m. Sunday while multiple families were gathered at the home. At the time of the fire, neighbors tell us there were ten children and six adults in the home visiting each other. They were related.

Neighbors also say that the family say they lost everything including clothes and all of their Christmas presents, which they had just finished wrapping.
