An East Texas bakery that won big on The Food Network's, "Cupcake Wars" in June, is opening a new bakery in Tyler.
The Luscious Crumb bakery from Mineola won 10,000 dollars from the show, and owner Dawn Trammell decided to expand her family business.
The grand opening was hold Saturday, for East Texans to try samples of their cupcakes, and see the new bakery.
"It's been crazy since, 'Cupcake Wars.' Being able to brag a little bit about being a winner has been awesome, and of course the prize money didn't hurt anything. That helped us open our location here in Tyler," said Trammell. "We are so excited to be here. This has been months in the making and we've had a few set backs, but being here is just absolutely incredible."
The Luscious Crumb says they are fully up and running and have over 100 different flavors to try.
