Friday's Weather: Cold start with mostly sunny skies. Temps topping out in the upper 50s by afternoon

EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - It's once again a very cold start to the day, but more sunshine is on tap today and that will help warm things up nicely into the upper 50s.

A few select locations could even hit 60. Skies will remain mostly clear this evening for High School Football. Temperatures at kickoff will be around the middle 40s. Those temperatures will drop quickly and will eventually bottom out in the middle 30s.

We'll see a few more clouds push in this weekend with temperatures topping out in the lower 60s both Saturday and Sunday. The slim chance of rain works its way into the forecast on Sunday.
