Pumpkin Pound Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

Teresa Stokes from Mar Teres Tea Room in Lufkin shared a fall dessert that would spruce up any Thanksgiving dessert spread!

Pumpkin Pound Cake with Cream Cheese Icing

Ingredients:

2 c. flour

2 c. sugar

1 1/4 c. oil

4 eggs

3 tsp. baking soda

3 tsp. cinnamon

1 tsp. salt

1 (15 oz.) can pumpkin

 

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a bundt pan.

2. Add all ingredients to a large mixing bowl and stir until well-blended.

3. Spread into bundt pan and bake 45 minutes to an hour or until done.

 

Cream Cheese Icing

 

Ingredients:

8 oz. cream cheese

1 box powdered sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

1 stick softened butter

 

Instructions:

1. Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and beat until smooth and fluffy. Spread onto cooled cake.
