Now A Free Man

He spent 17 years on death row in Huntsville and now he's walked out of prison a free man.

Yesterday, 59 year old Ernest Willis, was released after serving 17 years. He was convicted of setting a house fire in Iraan, Texas in 1986 that killed two women.

The charges against Willis were dismissed on Tuesday because prosecutors in Pecos County say there are strong indications the fire was an accident.
