Teen Arrested In School Plot

A 16 year old high school student has been arrested in Marshfield, Maine for plotting to use bombs and explosives to attack the town's high school.  Police say the teen was planning to carry out the plot next spring, possibly around the anniversary of the Columbine massacre in Colorado.

According to investigators, the boy had manufactured home-made bombs and possibly tested at least one in a wooded area of marshfield.  Police seized a computer in the teen's home.

They say they found evidence that he had visited web sites with instructions for making homemade explosives.  They also found evidence he was planning to target specific students, teachers, and emergency workers that would have arrived to help once the attack took place.
