Authorities searching for pair who robbed East Texas restaurant

GLADEWATER, TX (KLTV) -

Gladewater police are searching for two men they say robbed an employee of Texas Traditions restaurant Sunday night.

The suspects were dressed in black and wearing ski masks when they entered the restaurant in the 600 block of East Broadway Avenue about 9 p.m., according to Gladewater Police Chief Robert Vine.

According to reports, two males gained entrance to a back office area, displayed a weapon and then demanded the employee give them all of the money in the office. These two subjects then collected an undisclosed amount of cash before leaving the business.

Gladewater Police Officers and members of the Criminal Investigations Division responded to the scene along with a tracking canine unit from the Kilgore Police Department.

The two subjects were each described as 6 feet tall. One subject was described as having a slender build and the other as having a medium build.

No injuries were reported during this incident.
