SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Both westbound lanes of Interstate 20 near Exit 571 in Smith County were closed on Monday morning as crews worked to extinguish a car fire.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, westbound Interstate 20 was closed near Farm to Market 757, near Highway 271.

The Winona Volunteer Fire Department said the fire started in the engine department and no one was injured.

Two Winona fire trucks and an ambulance responded to the scene.
