TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A Smith County grand jury returned multiple indictments Tuesday charging three men in the death of 20-year-old Briana Raquel Young.

Dennis Montrell Bendy, Rahkeem Goldstein and Elisha Juwan Williams were each indicted on first degree felony murder charges connected to Young's July 30 shooting death at P.T. Cole Park in Tyler.

According to Smith County District Attorney Matt Bingham, a fourth man who was arrested in connection to the shooting, Ke'Avier Jarrod Wilson-Hurd, was no-billed and the murder charge against him was dropped.

According to police, Young was killed when she and her three-year-old son were caught in crossfire in Tyler's P.T. Cole Park when shots were fired. Investigators were told that gunfire broke out within the park and also came from a vehicle on Mockingbird Street near the park.

Witnesses say that Young was running near the gunfire in an attempt to protect her son when she collapsed in the playground on top of her child after being shot in the chest. Her child was not harmed. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Bendy, Goldstein and Williams are each being held in the Smith County Jail on $1 million bond each.
