On top of all the great football games on Friday night, one East Texas girl broke a world record.

Chrissalynd Person, a junior at Sulphur Springs High School flipped her way into the Guinness Book of World Records Friday night.

Just before the football game, she performed 47 back handsprings, breaking the world record of 44.

She already holds both state and national gymnastics titles, and has been looking forward to a new world title. Her family tells KLTV 7 that she's been doing back handsprings since the age of five when her parents put her in gymnastics classes.
