TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The hunt continues for an accused killer. Toledo Police and U.S. Marshals are searching for Marquis Walker, who they say shot and killed his ex-girlfriend last month.

Jordan Jones, 23, was loved by many people. Those people have spent the last month praying for an arrest, and now they have made flyers, hoping to help facilitate justice for Jordan.

"There isn't a night that goes by that I don't cry myself to sleep thinking about her and what she went through in those last moments of her life," said Blanca Romero. "It is time to give this family rest and closure from our grief, of the life that you took away when you kicked the door in to that apartment."

Police say Walker showed up to his ex-girlfriend Jones' home at the Tamaron Apartments, shot her multiple times and took off.

Now police are offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads them to Walker.

"The man – the person, because I have a hard time calling him a man – but the person, the individual who is responsible, Marquis Walker, for her not being here with us is out walking the streets," Romero said.

Walker is 5' 8" tall, weighs about 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111.

Jones' friends and family are holding a candlelight vigil for her this Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Tamaron Apartments. Anyone looking to show support may attend.
