HALLSVILLE, TX (KLTV) -

Signing day came a little early for one Hallsville High School senior. Spencer Bellomy has been into football since he was in the fourth grade, and has had a special place with the Bobcats all through his high school years.

His friends say he knows everything about football, and would never dream of missing a game. Spencer, who is a special needs student, has been on the sidelines for four years at the Bobcat's stadium, so his teammates and coaches decided he needed to be signed for all his dedication.

I kind of get the team ready for the game sometimes, and warm up the quarterback sometimes," Spencer said.

Macailyn Wilder is Spencer's best friend and the quarterback.

‘Oh, he's always yelling. He's the biggest fan out there. The biggest. Football's probably all he cares about," Macailyn revealed.

But Spencer's not just a Bobcat fan.

"He loves Tom Brady, he's a big [Tim] Tebow fan. He'll do this, you'll catch him doing this all the time it's his favorite move," Macailyn said while Tebowing.

Spencer's classmates were also on hand.

"This is probably the happiest he's ever been right here. For everybody to come out and congratulate him on what he's done. He's done a lot of work. He's out there every day," Macailyn said.

Jennifer Bellomy, Spencer's aunt, says Spencer makes her smile every day, and he deserves the recognition he's getting from his peers.

"I'm proud of him, I'm proud of him. Because that's his dream, and everybody ought to be able to finish their dream. He deserves this," Jennifer said.

Spencer took a knee and delivered a quick Tebow, then had some cake. Not only was it Spencer's Signing Day, it also just happened to be his nineteenth birthday. It was quite a gift.

Spencer started his high school football career with the freshmen, then junior varsity and on to varsity.

In the spring scrimmage against Kilgore, Spencer got to score a touchdown.
