Five East Texans were arrested during a bust on Wednesday night
Items seized during a drug bust in Rusk County
According to the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, five people were arrested Wednesday after two search warrants were executed for controlled substances.
The warrants were executed around 9 p.m. at 6895 Farm to Market 1798 in Laneville and at 403 Alma Street in Overton. Forty grams of methamphetamine, 3.5 ounces of marijuana, one firearm, an ATV believed to be stolen, drug paraphernalia and $1,343 was confiscated during the warrant executions.
Five individuals were arrested at these two locations and charged with criminal offenses:Terry Tidwell, 32, of Laneville is charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance
Jessica Page, 36, of Laneville is also charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance
Wallace Judalet, 24, of Henderson is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana
Dezarae Pyers, 31, of Henderson is charged with possession of a controlled substance
Ysidro Yanez, 55, of Overton is charged with manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana
The estimated street value of the narcotics seized during these warrant executions is $5,000.
"We got five people off the street that were selling drugs, we shut down two houses that were selling narcotics, it's a help for the community, it's a help for the county, it was a great cooperative effort between all the agencies involved to work together, to come to the end," Jeff Price, the Rusk County sheriff, said.
Additional charges of child endangerment and weapons offenses are being investigated. Three minors were in one of those homes, ages 12, 13, and 17. Those minors are in the care of relatives in the area.
These warrants were served as the result of the joint investigation conducted by the Rusk County Sheriff's Office, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Henderson Police Department, Overton Police Department and the Rusk District Attorney's Office.
