Russell Heath pleads guilty to bank robbery, gun charges

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Suspected bank robber Russell Eugine Heath pleaded guilty to aggravated bank robbery, aiding and abetting, and gun charges on Friday, Nov. 1.

Heath was apprehended by Border Patrol agents in Southern California on Aug. 15 while attempting to cross the border from Mexico to the United States.

Heath had been previously indicted in connection with three robberies, one count of possession and an unregistered firearm, one count of possession of a firearm with intent to commit a violent crime, and one charge of aiding and embedding in June.
