A body found in Palm Beach, FL has been identified as East Texas native Kimberly Lindsey, originally from Jacksonville.

According to the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, the case, which started as a missing persons' case, is now a homicide investigiation. Crime scene investigators at the residence said there is evidence of a violent confrontation. Lindsey's body was then removed and taken to a remote location, where it was discovered. Cause of death has yet to be determined.

At Bak Middle School in Palm Beach, where Lindsey was a nurse, yellow ribbons have gone up to show support. When she didn't show up for work Monday, her coworker called police.

A gathering is being organized Friday at six thirty to show support for Lindsey's family. It will be at the 911 memorial in Palm Beach Gardens and the public is invited.
