Flooding closes several roads in Anderson County

According to the Texas Department of Transportation, multiple roadways in Anderson County are closed due to flooding. Several others are listed as flooded but have not been officially closed. TxDOT encourages drivers to please seek additional routes and avoid these roadways:

  • Northbound and southbound lanes of Farm to Market 1990 are closed just south of Highway 79. The closed section of this roadway stretches from Highway 79 to two miles south of Highway 79. This road has been washed out. Please use alternate route.
  • Eastbound and westbound lanes of Farm to Market 320 are closed. Water is over the roadway at this time. Please seek alternate route.
  • Eastbound and westbound lanes of Farm to Market 321 are flooded beginning 0.5 miles west of Farm to Market 2706 to 0.9 miles west of Farm to Market 2054. Water over roadway. Use alternate route.
  • Northbound and southbound lanes of Farm to Market 645 are flooded beginning 0.1 miles south of Highway 287 to 0.5 miles north of Highway 79. Water over roadway. Seek alternate route. 
  • Eastbound and westbound lanes of Farm to Market 2054 are flooded beginning near Highway 79. Water is over the roadway at this time. Please use alternate route.
  • Farm to Market 315 at Brushy Creek is closed between Highway 175 and Farm to Market 837 due to high, swift-moving water. Use alternate route.
