Good Wednesday Morning East Texas. A flash flood watch is in effect for much East Texas through tomorrow morning for the anticipation of heavy rain late today and overnight through Thursday morning. This afternoon we will see mostly cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs will be in the upper 70s to near 80 degrees with southeasterly winds between 15 and 20 miles per hour. Between now and Thursday afternoon much of East Texas could receive between 2 and 4 inches of rain with a few locally heavier amounts possible.
