One airlifted after accident on Hwy. 110 near Troup
Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident on Highway 110 between Whitehouse and Troup.
At least one person was airlifted to the hospital.
The road was closed for a half mile in each direction as a result.
TROUP, TX (KLTV) -
Emergency crews responded to the scene of an accident on Highway 110 between Whitehouse and Troup just after 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
Witnesses say the two-vehicle accident, a head-on collision, occurred about three miles north of Troup and debris littered the scene. The road was closed for a half mile in each direction as a result.
According to Troup Mayor John Whitsell, there were two passengers in one vehicle and one in the other. One person was airlifted to a local hospital, the other two were taken by ambulance. None of the three sustained life threatening injuries.
Department of Public Safety troopers and the Whitehouse Volunteer Fire Department responded to the scene.
