Tyler Caldwell Zoo offers 'Boo at the Zoo for East Texas families

Posted: Updated:
TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

East Texas families came out to the Caldwell Zoo in Tyler for the annual "Boo at the Zoo" event.

All were welcome to wear their Halloween costumes for the day.

Families could come tour the zoo to see the animals, but also participate in games and activities set up throughout the zoo.

The Caldwell Zoo says they wanted to offer a safe Halloween event for families to enjoy.

"I looked at animals, played games and jumped on the bounce houses. It was a lot of fun," said Miles Mitchell, a child at the zoo.

"We're having a great time. This is our second time to come because it's a lot of fun," said Nicole Mitchell, Miles mother. "For the kids, they get to see the animals and play the games. They have a really good time so we're having a blast."
