BG police seek 2nd suspect in robbery, assault of high school students

BOWLING GREEN, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Police need your help finding a young man wanted in connection to a robbery and assault on Bowling Green High School students at the end of September.

A robbery warrant has been issued for the arrest of Rashaad Le Andre Chatman.

Chatman is wanted in connection to the Sept. 29 robbery of four BGHS students in the 200 Block of South Prospect Street. During the robbery, approximately seven to 10 subjects approached, assaulted and robbed the boys as they walked down the street. After the robbery, the suspects fled in two vehicles.

Later, a third stolen vehicle - believed to have been taken from the same area and time of the robbery - was involved in a crash on the High Level Bridge in Toledo.  

Three juvenile suspects were arrested at that time. However, the investigation into this incident is ongoing. 

Chatman is described as an 18-year-old black male, standing 5'7", weighing 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. His last known address is on Brighton Avenue in south Toledo.

    The Longview Police Department has stated that both north and southbound lanes of West Loop 281 is closed. The road is closed from Cotton to Enterprise has been closed due to an accident.
