LENAWEE COUNTY, MI (Toledo News Now) -

Lenawee County Sheriff's Deputies say the intersection of US 223 and Onsted Highway can be a dangerous intersection for drivers. Wednesday morning, a school bus carrying 17 Onsted elementary-aged children was hit by a pickup truck at that intersection.

Toledo News Now's Amanda St. Hilaire was able to show why authorities say the intersection can cause problems for drivers.

More than a dozen students were sent to the ProMedica Bixby Hospital in Adrian after Wednesday's crash. A spokesperson for the hospital says most of those students are now home and in good condition. Two students are still in the hospital, along with the driver of the pickup truck. The crash remains under investigation.
