Man shot in abdomen in Springfield Twp.

SPRINGFIELD TWP, OH (FOX19) -

Authorities are investigating after a 25-year-old man was shot in the abdomen in Springfield Township.

Officers received reports of the shooting around 9:15 p.m. on Wednesday night. Units were initially called to the 8800 block of Neptune Drive.

Crews arriving on the scene found the victim two blocks away in the 8800 block of Neptune. Officers say that the victim was shot in the stomach.

The victim was transported to the hospital. His name and condition are unknown at this time.
