TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

After two East Texas men were charged with the same crime, one man was sentenced to 30 years in prison while the other was given probation.

Last month, a Smith County jury sentenced 22-year-old David Ford of Tyler to 30 years in prison for an August 2012 robbery.

Monday, as part of a plea agreement, Tevin Dorsey, a co-defendant in that robbery, was sentenced to 10 years probation. Dorsey testified against Ford in September.

Police say the two men were responsible for robbing a Tyler woman at gunpoint in her driveway off Shiloh road.
