Police investigating crash that left an ETX child dead, another injured

On October 12, 2013 at 2:48 p.m., Longview Police were dispatched to a jaws call in the area of mile marker 595. When officers arrived they were told the driver of a 2007 maroon Buick Lacrosse driven by Adam Ross Bryant, 30 of Longview, was traveling westbound when he lost control of his car and crashed into a guardrail. Bryant was not injured in the crash. The passengers in the vehicle, Bryant's children, Evan Ross Bryant age 4 and Sadie Bryant age 6, were both transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. Evan Ross died at the hospital a short time later. Sadie Ross was transported to a Dallas hospital. The crash remains under investigation.
