The Tatum Eagles haven't needed much from their offense this season. The Eagles defense has pitched three shutouts in five games. Tatum has allowed just 13 points during their perfect 5 and 0 start.
"I don't know what it is but we have that urge to get it done that nobody can stop us and we going to stop them," said Tatum linebacker Kyshaun Smith.
The Eagles defense has actually scored more touchdown's than they've allowed. Tatum has given up two, but scored three of their own.
Eagles safety Klifton Willis has scored twice. Willis has been amazing through five weeks, hauling in ten interceptions.
"I guess just being in the right place at the right time," said Willis. "Me and my defensive backs coach we go through a lot of film and I know what they do before they do it."
It's not a bad start for a guy that had never had an interception entering the season.
"Klifton is like a cat, he's everywhere," said Smith. "He's everywhere on the field. No matter where you throw to or what side of the field you're on he's there."
