Surveillance video shows haunting robbery at Tyler CVS

TYLER, TX (KLTV) -

One suspect is in jail and police are still searching for another suspected of robbing a CVS Pharmacy in the 1700 block of South Broadway Avenue in Tyler at gunpoint last Thursday. Wednesday, KLTV obtained surveillance video of  the robbery.

In the video, you can see a man in a skeleton mask enter the store and push a customer out of the way. From another angle, you can see the masked man pull out a gun and point it at the cashier. She grabs the telephone and announces the intruder over the intercom, scaring him away. The masked robber takes off, hitting the glass door on the way out, and dropping his gun.

The robber escaped in a gold getaway car waiting in the parking lot. Witnesses were able to write down the license plate numbers which led police to the driver, 35-year-old, Keithan Williams, has been charged with aggravated robbery. The robber is still  at large.

There were no injuries, just frightened customers and employees. According to Tyler Police they are investigating the pair in connection with other robberies, but did not elaborate on which incidents.
