Authorities seek info on E. Texas oilfield theft suspect

HARRISON COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - East Texas authorities are seeking the public's help to identify a theft suspect.

According to the Harrison County Sheriff's Office, the theft occurred September 25 at a site near the intersection of Blackburn Road and Edmonson Road, just three miles northwest of Harleton. A Kohler 20 HP motor, a General 5 GPM pressure pump and 100-feet of high pressure hose were taken from the location. The Kohler motor has the number "11" on it.

An unknown suspect entered the site around 1 a.m. by crawling under a fence. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 35-40 years old, with a heavy build. At this time the incident occurred, he was wearing a backwards camouflage baseball cap and safety glasses.

Anyone who recognizes this suspect or has information on this crime is asked to contact Investigator Lieutenant Floyd Duncan or the Investigations Section of the Harrison County Sheriff's Office at 903-923-4000. All tips can be submitted anonymously.
