(RNN) – Safety workers in New York City have lowered a 13,000 pound box that was stuck 20 stories high after a crane malfunctioned on Monday.

Gas lines and steam lines were shutdown as a precaution and nearby streets were closed.

The crane is located at the same building where a crane collapsed during Superstorm Sandy in October 2012. The crane hung from a luxury apartment building during the storm, shutting down the block for a week.

Once completed, the building will be the tallest residential building in New York.
