Shutdown may shut out local vets

Several congressmen, including East Texan Louie Gohmert, moved aside barricades today so a group of veterans could go into the closed World War II memorial in Washington.  Tonight at 10, we have a new report on how the government shutdown could affect a group of East Texas veterans planning the trip of a lifetime to see the memorial built in their honor.

Tonight at 10, we continue to bring you the latest information on the huge fire that obliterated a historic building in downtown Palestine this weekend.  Laura Sadler talked with the owner of a store that operated in that building about how trying to help others led to tragedy.
