Local authorities seeking suspects in early morning robbery

From the Smith County Sheriff's Office:

TYLER, TX – At 5:48 this morning, multiple patrol deputies and other Smith County Sheriff's Office officials responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Valero Minute Stop, located at 11874 Highway 64 West.

Early information indicates that two white males in their 20’s entered the Valero with a gun and took money from the register. The clerk said that the two men were wearing black hoodies, dark jeans and black covers over their faces.

The men left the Valero in an older model four-door, white Nissan Maxima and were traveling east on Highway 64 West.

The Smith County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division is at the crime scene and will handle the investigation.
